About Jennie

Long before I had any idea of what a celebrant does, I found joy and comfort in creating ceremonies for my family.

Today, I am honored to be a certified Life-Cycle Celebrant; creating ceremonies by working closely with you - tuning in to your vision, researching customs and rituals as appropriate, finding readings that resonate with you, interviewing key participants should you desire, and infusing my natural ability to weave a most meaningful story in order to create a celebration that will be remembered and cherished for years to come.

I have spent many years working in the theatre industry; as a professional stage manager, as a theatrical production coordinator for a large university, and as a labor union representative for an entertainment labor union. This artistic and practical knowledge enables me to see the whole picture of an event. I understand how a ceremony is orchestrated with all the pieces that must come together to make it a seamless and natural experience.

I am from New York, a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook, and will always have a special place in my heart for the big tall trees, twisty-turny roads, and crisp air of Long Island. But I do love living in Florida, and over the years I have made my home in several cities throughout the Sunshine State.

Along with my work and guiding my two teenage daughters into adulthood, I am a lifelong yoga practitioner and musician. I am devoted to cultivating a mind-body-spirit balance that is both grounded and lighthearted.

I am based in Orlando, Florida, and available to travel to the destination of your choice in order to realize your vision of the perfect ceremony. I am a Florida Notary, member of Universal Life Church, and registered with the City of New York to officiate weddings.

Our first meeting is a no-obligation interview, provided to you for Free!

I welcome the opportunity to speak to you about the ceremony you have in mind to cherish your life event.
